The CD is a mix of tracks spanning the 5 or 6 years that the Generals were playing and recording.

The band had connections with successful 80's and early 90's bands in the North West of England, with members also playing with James, Cornershop and The English McCoy, and despite interest from record companies the band instinctively followed their own path.
